I took the reins for TEAMS ’24, the leading annual 4 day conference for the sports event industry, to deliver an absolutely phenomenal trade booth trading card experience while fostering relationships and building key partnerships.
As the head overseeing the fulfillment of our trading card activation at the TEAMS’ 24 conference, I worked closely with the organizers to create an incredible experience. I managed and maintained crystal clear communications, delivering an absolutely seamless experience for the conference and the organizers I collaborated with. I was later given commendations by the organizers of the event for how easy and smooth it was to work with me. I was responsible for every aspect, from the decision to sponsor the TEAMS conference to the negotiations, designing the booth, trading cards and marketing collateral, getting collateral printed, coordinating with the organizers, and on the day of the conference, helping with set-up, engaging leads, building connections, and creating an exciting and memorable experience. All with significantly less budget to use compared to other organizations
And the result? A booth so packed we had a line go across and cover the neighboring booths. In addition to countless people raving to the hosts of the event about our booth and the amazing trading cards they got. Overall it was a huge success!
Through the TEAMS ’24 Conference we made extremely valuable connections and got exposure to many sports organizers all over the nation. All while forming key relationships that’ll lead to amazing partnerships later down the road.
On Day 1, I assisted in booth set-up and resolved a technical issue that would have completely destroyed the experience.
On Day 2, I ran the booth engaging attendees as they passed by and provided support all around as needed to create a memorable experience.
On Day 3, I took 18 individual appointments with various leaders from different sports organizations, national governing bodies and convention & visitor bureaus. The biggest one being the Director of Sports, United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the national governing body for the Olympics here in the United States. Just in time for the Olympics returning back to the US in the 2028 LA Olympic Games.
I designed the custom trading cards for the conference and produced mock-ups for the organizers to review.
I produced an entire full page magazine ad from scratch. Using a trusty layout developed by the advertising legend David Ogilvy with an ad creative that’ll grab attention and copywriting that was meticulously crafted by me and refined by AI.
Emailed a list of 1,000+ event coordinators and organizers leading up to the conference for visibility and engagement.
All touchpoints had a QR code with a tracked link that led back to this landing page where we collected leads.
Attached to our email blasts, we provided a branded map that showed subscribers exactly where to go to find our booth and get a trading card.
Designed a simple and straight to the point pull-up banner that grabs the eye and draws people in.
I created business cards directing to a landing page built specifically targeting TEAMS.
In addition to business cards, I created flyers as a reminder for attendees and to give them additional information on the services we provide.
