God will not allow His people to suffer unnecessary harm but for a reason.
“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
— 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (KJV)”
“Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
— 1 Chronicles 16:22 (KJV)”
And there are countless examples of God completely shielding and protecting His people from any sort of harm.
My half brother has an unclean spirit
I hadn’t talked to or seen this brother for over 10 years straight… Come to find out, he had been through a lot of trouble—which is no surprise. He didn’t have much of a chance from the beginning the way he was raised and the situations he was put through.
At some point, while he was away, an evil spirit got a hold of him and now causes problems with him pretty commonly. I found this out when he came back to stay with my mom. He is normal and then will seemingly become a different person.
Occasionally, this unclean spirit decides to wake up and wreak havoc. My half brother will go from chill, peaceful and quiet to suddenly being angry. Throwing stuff around and destroying things.
Knowing he has an unclean spirit from the first few interactions with him and seeing his behavior, I’d check in and ask my mom about him.
The unclean spirit wakes up and destroys a bunch of stuff
And one day, she tells me he started acting up and destroyed a bunch of stuff. Mainly his stuff but he also destroyed some of her pictures.
For context, my mom keeps a lot of photos. She loves taking photos and capturing moments in time to remember. On the wall, she keeps 4 photos, one of each of her kids in a picture frame. All next to each other in a small square, grid layout. 2 rows, 2 photos in each row. 2×2.
At some point, my half brother had this unclean, evil spirit wake up and come out. He got up in a fit of anger and rage. Throwing stuff around and destroying things.
The unclean spirit then destroyed the photos on the wall—cutting through and tearing them up…
But something very unique and interesting happened…
He didn’t touch my photo at all. My photo was completely untouched… not harmed at all. The rest—even himself—he destroyed.
I am the only one that receives salvation
Literally and figuratively. Only my image was saved from the destruction that took place.
And none of my brothers know Jesus Christ. None of them walk with God and receive the free gift from God by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Only I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
This unclean spirit—this evil spirit—this demon—whatever you want to call it. All but destroyed everyone except for me.
The photos were all close together. They were all in a group next to each other on the wall… About an inch or so from each other.
Surely, all of the photos should have been destroyed in this fit of rage and anger from the demon.
And yet, God did not let this demon so much as touch my image. Not even a scratch to it.
The rest of them were destroyed completely and my mom had to replace them. But mine was left untouched by this demon.
The only one saved by Jesus Christ and born again, was the only one saved.
A testament to God’s Glory, Strength, Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness and Goodness
If this isn’t a testament to the providence of God, His Power and His Glory and His Shelter, then I don’t know what is. If it isn’t a testament to the grace, forgiveness, mercy, protection and salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ, then I don’t know what is.
From the great destruction that took place, God did not let any damage occur to even the image of me. The rest suffer destruction because don’t wash with the blood of Jesus Christ and be born again. They didn’t have God with them.
It’s a beautiful picture of the grace and protection of God. And how, those who don’t receive Jesus Christ, will face destruction. But those who do receive Jesus Christ will find protection, salvation and the grace of God.
Jesus Christ = Immanuel = God with us
Glory be to God!
And this isn’t the first time God has done wonders and miracles. This is one of MANY times in my life and it continues to happen.
