The issue with the saying is how distorted and corrupted it inherently is.
It’s become an overarching theme and seen as an expectation for relationships. Men are told by other men and by plenty of women that “happy wife, happy life.” Or some subtle version of it. But, it’s worse than that… “Happy” is subjective, based on the feelings of the wife.
If you’re shooting for happiness, and happiness is defined by your wife. Then, you’re subject to doing whatever it is that makes your wife happy. You’re shooting wherever your wife tells you. Now, you become a slave to the feelings of your wife and under her command.
That flips God’s natural law on it’s head because it removes God from the order, but it also puts the woman above the man. Now, the man is under subjection to what the woman defines as happiness in the moment. Which will change every moment that passes, along with her emotions and feelings.
The man is no longer leading but the wife is the one who is aiming and telling when to fire. The man becomes the tool for the moment wielded by the woman’s impulsive, ever changing feelings.
It’s corrupt and evil. It’s also anti-God. It goes against God. satan means opposition. It is the opposition to God, the adversary. Doing the opposite of what God put in place is exactly that. It is therefore satanic.
You never give power to an emotional person
You NEVER give a gun to an emotional person. Because one moment, they’re fine. The next, they’re extremely angry and murdering someone out of anger. The next, they’re in deep guilt and regret because they just murdered someone, made a permanent decision, out of temporary emotions. Then, they’re drowning in sorrow as they realize what they’ve done.
Even worse is any sort of authority or power. Especially legally and in places where it will affect everyone else.
It’s why a woman should NEVER be a president. Ever.
Imagine a woman president on her period with the nuclear button right next to her. She has cramps. She is in pain. Her mood is fluctuating. She is angry. Next thing you know, Canada is getting nuked for pissing her off. After all, it’s “just a button” and “they deserved it”, she says.
Women don’t know what they want
Give a woman the steering wheel and she’ll drive you off the cliff because she saw a shiny sign.
She’ll stop at a gas station. Be told by some random homeless dude that if you go to “645 Sudden Death Avenue”, you’ll be entered to win a new car! But he tells her, “You have to be QUICK! Don’t think! Go!”
She’ll jump in the car and berate you for being so slow. Pissed off and throwing a tantrum. She speeds off to the address, follows the road and directions given to her. She believes the lie and goes head first into it. Never stopping to test and try the authenticity of it.
And in her rush, she is speeding, 120 MPH, right into a ditch.
Then her emotions will change. She’ll be pissed again. But this time, it’s because of YOU! You didn’t say anything. You let her do it!
And it’s true. You’re such a pushover, she pushed right passed you into her own destruction.
If you want any happiness, it’s not in women
You’ll find your joy and happiness is found in living to God’s standards. Walking in the Spirit. Following Jesus Christ. Submitting your life to God and letting His hand take and guide you.
You’ll find joy in pursuing that which is good and righteous.
And by pursuing those things, happiness and joy is inherit.
Regardless, the pursuit of God and His ways should always be the goal. Not happiness.
Happiness is temporary.
God is forever.
He is everlasting. And His ways are above anything we could imagine or achieve.
You’ll find a life of joy when you give your life to Him. And lead your wife to the same, have her follow you there.
Then you’ll both have what can never be taken away from you and lasts the test of time.
Eternal life, in the presence of God. The greatest of all, God.
